Jesus Christ was in constant consciousness of the work of his father. "... I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which sent me." (John6:30) His mortal life brought to pass the prophecy that "...he will go forth, suffering pains and afflictions of every kind..." (Alma 7:11) Yet he was unwavering. His goal was clear, his love unfeigned. His perfected existence brought to light a road, which few will traverse. The path has been marked. The way has been cleared. The choice is presented to all who seek everlasting joy. Will you fall by the way side? Or will you take The Road Less Traveled?

Positively Powerful

It seems like much of the world has lost it's savor. People look and feel like they are leading bland lives in which the color seems to fade much too quickly. The reason this is, is that most of us spend our lives chasing after the shimmering, fading, lure instead of taking the time to scan the waters for the "bread of life" promised to us by Christ himself.
This world is full of small shining distractions. Often times the path back to God is described as "straight and narrow". We know that there will always be opposition, but it never seems to come in the way we expect.
We think to ourselves that some large and menacing threat will arise and grab us off the path, but we fail to realize how easy it is to follow the seemingly harmless little shimmers that slowly guide us astray.
In times such as this is when we have the hardest time realizing what we are giving up to follow those little flickering lights, which represent the brief moments of pleasure the vain things of the world have to offer us. We falter from the path that leads to everlastinf happiness to chase just one shining light that carefully leads us down a slippery slope, the banks of which are very hard to re-ascend.
The power of being positive has an amzing impact on those who falter from the path, and even for those who who are still successfully walking the path. With our head down we have no hope of ever seeing our destination. If we keep our head up, and always strive for the good in each situation our goal will become clear. We continue to have the hope and peace in our lives that come from knowing that we can and will do better.
Never give up. Hold strong to your faith.
